Frequently asked questions
Are travel expenses included in your packages or covered additionally?
Travel is charged at $50 per hour (or by travel time via car). Super simple and straightforward!
Can we include our dog in the elopement ceremony and photos?
ABSOLUTELY. I’m a total dog (and fur baby) lover — they are always welcome to join in on the fun.
What if we want something more adventurous for our elopement (hiking, diving, etc.)?
I’m always down for an adventure! Just tell me your idea — whether that’s hiking up a mountain or something totally out-of-the-box — and we’ll plan it together.
Do you travel outside of byers, Colorado?
Yes, yes, yes! I love to travel. Just send me a message (or include it in your session request), and we’ll dream it up together. Depending on the location, there may be additional travel fees.
What should we wear?
Don’t stress about outfits — I’ll help! I love working with colors that photograph beautifully and match my brand and editing style — think soft, earthy, and timeless tones (nothing too neon or harsh). I’m always happy to share outfit inspo and tips so you feel comfortable, confident, and totally yourself in front of the camera.
When will we get our photos?
For most sessions — families, couples, newborns, and all the in-betweens — you’ll have your final gallery in about 3–4 weeks. Weddings take a little more time (usually 3–4 months, depending on the season). Don’t worry though, I always send sneak peeks so you can relive the magic while you wait!
Can I make changes to your images?
I totally get wanting your photos to feel perfect, but editing is such a big part of my style and brand. Because of that, I kindly ask that you don’t alter or apply filters to the final images. Before booking, take some time to look through my work and make sure you love the way I edit — that way you’ll know exactly what to expect! My goal is always for you to walk away with photos you truly love and are proud to share.
Can we bring snacks or drinks to our session?
Um, yes please! Nothing makes photos more fun than your favorite coffee, tacos, or even a little champagne pop. The more you, the better.
